The Station Road Branch of city Montessori School, Lucknow hosted the Computer Olympiad (COFAS) 15 -18 of September this year. This is an internationally recognized competition with competitors representing nations from around the world and this is an effort to encourage advanced computer knowledge among the youngsters in the society as computer technology has a deep impact on education.

This year there were 10 international schools from Nepal, Bangladesh, Jordan, Nigeria, SriLanka etc… and 34 national schools from all over India like Sikkim, West Bengal, Karnataka, Gujrat, Jharkhand, UP, Orissa, Maharashtra, New Delhi etc and 23 local schools from Lucknow.

There were events like Web Design, Software Making, Quizzing, Debate, Turncoat and Mathematical Ability like Brainz etc…

LOYOLA SCHOOL, Jamshedpur came up as overall winners, winning both the Quizzes in Junior as well as Senior level, Softek, Turncoat and Brainz

The School won a Desktop PC sponsored by ACER…
